For The Love of My Dreams
is the sequel to Recovering Stolen Dreams. This is a
love story that represents overcoming the greatest fear
of all-vulnerability in love. It describes the conquest
of ego in unmasking pretence. Through innocence and
truth, it unveils the surrender to the only love that
survives all time and conditions-unconditional love.
A viable achievement for all of humanity, it is a necessity
for soul evolution and bringing peace within, which
extends outwardly to all other beings.
It imbues onto the reader
a new hope for creating one's own heart's desires without
fear of failure, knowing that the outcome is shaped
by forms of fluid acceptance. For The Love of My Dreams
is a love of a higher order that all of humanity is
about to embrace.
About the author
This sequel to Ahlam
Shalhout's book Recovering Stolen Dreams continues
along the path of the heart. It portrays the inevitable
fruit of self-empowerment gained through diligent
self-awareness. Echoing self-love, Shalhout demonstrates
her art of making dreams come true, harmoniously and
co-creatively, in dynamic universes through transcendence
of fear. In epic form, she has captured the essence
of divinity through trinity by illustrating the marriage
of the spiritual dance with the physical verse. She
speaks of "the wonderful things in store for
humanity when all recognize each other as one. Reaching
out across the lands we hold each other's hands as
Sages of new birth bring gifts of joy." She announces
to all: "In your solace you thrust a world of
peace in which there is no need for greed [because]
eternal knowledge avails itself to all those who CHOOSE
to see." She shares her visions of the future
through "nature's screens of sight": "I've
seen the majestic roses take a bow before the heavy
rains. The winds and rains are here to cleanse our
ways of darker days." Her nostalgic roots spread
endlessly in 'St. Thomas My Beloved' . AHLAM SHALHOUT
was born and raised in St. Thomas, U S Virgin Islands.
Her parents re- located to Connecticut during the
latter part of her childhood. Her first name Ahlam
means "dreams" in Arabic. Her poems are
inspired by her dreams and meditations.
