This 3-PART series of classes offers:
(Each session runs for 4 weeks)
1. CHI GONG - breathing &
slow movements for flexing, toning & self-awareness.
2. MEDITATION
3. CREATIVE EXPRESSION - The
artist voice within you is stimulated to express your
dreams & desires.
RESULTS & PRODUCTS:
1st Session: Acknowledging
Your Present State
This workshop will result in having a clear picture of one’s strengths & weaknesses. Attendees will answer the questions for themselves : “Who Am I?” and “Where Am I?” Attendees will complete 1/3 of their 'new life blueprint' on a collage.
2nd Session: Acknowledging
Your Desired State
This workshop will result in having a clear picture of where you would like for your life to be. Attendees will answer the question for themselves : “Where & How do I wish to direct my life?” Attendees will complete 2/3 of their 'new life blueprint' on a collage.
3rd Session: Creating
The Total Picture
This workshop will leave attendees with the tools & techniques for living their new lives. Attendees will answer the question for themselves : “What steps do I need to take to bring my dreams to fruition?” Attendees will generate the final phase of their 'new life blueprint' on a collage.

Ahlam Shalhout has published 2 epics and is a speaker on the steps for re-claiming one's power & co-creating a peaceful world. She integrates poetry readings from her books with her presentations for poignant illustrations. She has spoken at St. John The Divine Cathedral in NYC, Long Wharf Theater, Niantic Cinema, The Garde Theater, Connecticut College, Eastern Connecticut State University, Connecticut College, Manchester Community College, Hartford Seminary, Southeastern Mental Health Authority, Groton, East Lyme and Old Lyme Public Libraries, Norwich Inn & Spa, First Congregational Church of Old Lyme, Shoreline Counseling, Inc. She teaches Tai Chi and leads her Creative Expression workshops. |
